The Internet of Things and Computing Systems Hub (Nuclic), a research and development group from the Computer Engineering course at the Federal University of Ceará – Sobral Campus, announces the selection process for the new class of the Robotics Cell.

The Padawan Study Group is designed for students wishing to start their journey in the universe of robotics and embedded systems, offering a solid foundation in electronics and programming.
Activity Schedule Meetings will be held weekly on Thursdays, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The content is organized into practical modules:
- Module 01: Introduction to basic concepts.
- Modules 02 and 03: Pins, Timers, and Interrupts.
- Modules 04 and 05: PWM and Motors.
- Module 06: IoT and wireless communication.
At the conclusion of the program, teams will develop an interactive game project for presentation at ExpoloT, a semiannual event organized by Nuclic.
Requirements and Registration
- Must be an active student at the Federal University of Ceará.
- Minimum age of 18 years old.
- Availability of 2 weekly in-person hours and 2 asynchronous hours for required activities.
- It is desirable to have or create accounts on Tinkercad and Wokwi and have access to Proteus software (the latter being used as an auxiliary tool), but access can be arranged during the course.
Participation grants a certification of up to 20 hours, subject to minimum attendance and completion of the proposed activities.
Deadlines and Fees
- Registration: From 03/30/2026 to 04/05/2026.
- Maintenance fee: R$ 5.00 to assist with component costs.
- Final results: 04/06/2026.
- Confirmation and payment: Until 04/08/2026, at 12:00 PM.
